The Fenix LR40R is more of a form factor than most of our other recommendations but make no mistake, this thing is tiny but mighty and a lot of people really like the flashlight shape with floodlight capabilities. These things can easily fit in a glove box or center console whereas you might not have space for something with a big T shaped light and handle.

Okay, I know, nearly three hundred bucks for a tiny flashlight doesn’t seem worth it, but it is when you get 12000 real lumens and over 2000 feet of potential beaming power. These things are highly powerful and highly versatile making them one of my favorite handheld lighting solutions I’ve gotten to review.
The construction of this flashlight/spotlight is absolutely phenomenal. Where most spotlights consist of some type of plastic that may not hold up to much abuse with flimsy feeling rubber buttons, you get an oxidation-resistant aircraft-grade aluminum body with stainless steel switches on the Fenix. A lot of people buck the extra buck for a version of their favorite spotlight with water resistance features but with the Fenix, they all come with a standard IPX68 rating, meaning they’re good to submerge in up to 2 meters of water.

But, as Dalal notes, “the active ingredient here is glycerin,” which she describes as “a wonderful ingredient that helps hydrate your skin without the overproduction of oil.” Solomon agrees, adding that glycerin “is an effective moisture preserver that hydrates in a nonoily way.” As with the Cetaphil, “this face wash works for all skin types and is nonirritating,” according to Dalal, who also adds that it is formulated in “a town in France where the thermal water has been used to treat patients with many skin conditions, including eczema, rosacea, and psoriasis.”
